My name is Jessica Green. I started my career in journalism in the 2000s with the hope of creating something great. I was born in Maui, Hawaii, and from an early age, I had two passions: adventure and storytelling. I grew up in a family of hikers where sports and physical training were part of the daily routine. Our family vacations always involved activities like rafting, sailing, hiking, and mountain biking. After finishing high school, I understood that I wanted to combine my two passions for a living. This is when I decided to study journalism. Zipline tours Only a few years after starting college, I discovered zip lining. While I was on vacation in Costa Rica, I was able to soar over the country’s lush forests and climb the volcano Arenales. Thus began an amazing adventure in which I visited the major courses in the region. My journey took me to Maui, Nicaragua, upstate New York, Kentucky, Punta Cana, Puerto Rico, and Florida. But you may be wondering how this led to where I am today. As I was riding the best zip lines, I met many like-minded people and discovered a new world. There was a whole community ready to jump on the next aerial adventure. As you already know, I wanted to combine my two passions, and that’s what I did. Our vision: The Ziplining community I decided to create a website on canopy ziplining. At first, the idea was to feature zipline tours in Maui, but soon we started to cover other destinations. From the beginning, Piiholozipline was not only about providing information: we wanted to create a platform where zipliners can find the right tours for them. Thanks to our wide network of providers, visitors can browse around for pictures and reviews. They can access information on the hottest zipline options on one single website. Once they choose the right tour, they can book through our platform. We have agreements with major zip line providers, which means we can handle your bookings easily. Our goal: Ziplining across the world My goal from the very beginning was to tell stories about adventures. Yet, the project evolved into something else. The Piiholozipline platform is now a place where to meet like-minded people, get information about the industry, and find the right tours. We started our adventure in 2015 featuring only three ziplines. In less than 5 years we managed to gather a network of 15 zipline adventure parks, and now we want more. Our objective for this year is to offer tours not only in the Central American region but also in the world. Many extreme experiences are waiting for us out there, and every person should be able to know them. Throughout our journey, the Piiholozipline team has traveled to many places and seen amazing aerial views, experienced incredible adrenaline boosts, and enjoyed zip lining with our families. Now, we want our community to find out about these places too. We also want to allow them to book through us. The next step consists of preparing travel packages including plane tickets, accommodation, and tours. We hope this helps us enhance our community, which will feed back from our project and vice versa. We are also proud of our blog. This is a key factor for our success as it’s our direct contact with our audience. We feature topics that are useful for adventure seekers. Some of them include safety measures, children-friendly tours, zip-lining tips, interesting facts, etc. Our mission: The Piiholozipline’ commitment Our website and blog are focused on one thing: providing value. We want to nurture our community, growing in quantity and quality. Since the first entertainment zip line tour in the 90s, the industry has changed. Zip lines have grown higher, longer, and safer. You can find them across 75 countries and six continents. Hence, we want to offer our audience wider options every year. Our mission is to engage with our current followers even further while getting new ones. This is the ideal approach to meet our goals.
